Final post??!?!?!? I know. I promised I would be writing about a few more topics. A good friend made me realize today that no good fruit was coming out of the conversations on these topics. It caused arguments and really did no good at all for anyone.
In all honesty the main point of writing on these topics was because there was so much confusion on these topics in the Christian world. Unfortunately writing on these topics just ended up with more arguing about them and causing even more confusion. My hearts desire is to see the church move in power and be in one accord. We don’t need to agree on everything and we probably never will.
We can agree on one thing though: We need more of Jesus and we need to live a life like he lived. It is time that we put our differences aside and work together and bring Jesus to this lost and dying world. So lets get out there. The world needs us. People need us. A generation needs us. The unborn babies need us.
We all have different callings.
- If you hate abortion and think it’s murder get out there and pray and do as much as you and go the distance to get abortion ended.
- If you have a heart for this generation go out and witness. Think of ways to bring them into church cause the younger generation is getting distracted by so many other things
- If you have a heart for the lost. Don’t just sit there. Get out there and do things. Be willing to risk your life to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
In the past few posts I really didn’t get to make a strong point or express myself well. I am not going to let that happen again in this post. My MAIN POINT is: We have differences but lets put those aside and bring love of Christ to this lost and hurt world.

This is good, Ben. It really is. Blessed are the Peacemakers.
Comment by Kat Burnett November 19, 2008 @ 03:32 pmi beg to differ. i think these conversations are so important. i think all these post were great-even if there was arguing….what’s so wrong with that. people are thinking, using their brains and standing up for stuff….i think that’s fruit enough. great job facilitating this ben and i hope you can see the benefits.i hope you reconsider what your friend said and continue on with these posts. i’m sad i didn’t get to hear y’alls take on war.

Comment by Kenny November 20, 2008 @ 06:01 pm@ Kenny:
What is your point in posting that verse? It is one of those obscure red-letter verses and it demands some comment when using it.
Comment by Jason November 20, 2008 @ 06:26 pmTrying to “reason” and make “peace” on certain things is compromise as a Christian.
Trying to find middle ground on a thing like if abortion is “ok” is pointless.
Abortion is murder. Murder is wrong. So abortion is wrong, its a little baby being killed very violently.
Now, I’m not mad when I say these things, I am heartbroken for little babys that never made it out of the womb, 50 million of them.
So yes, I am passionate about the church not compromising on this.
Comment by Kenny November 21, 2008 @ 02:11 pmI agree there are certain things that can’t be compromised. But, I also haven’t seen anyone say that abortion is ok.
What has been debated and questioned is the best way to end abortion, or more realistically, significantly reduce it. This is not compromise, but a good discussion to be having when we consider the world we live in.
I feel your concern and share your heart, as I too believe that abortion takes precious life away.
