What a man

Have you guys even seen the show on the discovery channel called man vs. wild? Well it’s about this guy named Bear Grylls(pronounced grills). First of all with a name like that you have like 2 choices of what you’re gonna be when you grow up.

  1. A big hairy man who scares little kids when he takes his shirt off at the community pool.
  2. A manly man who jumps cliffs, climbs Mount Everest and has his fists registered as weapons.

Luckily this guy picked choice number two. In this show they send this guy out to deserts, jungles, deserted islands, tops of mountains, etc etc…. with just a knife. His goal is to survive and find his way out and get rescued. This guy is like the craziest guy I have ever seen. Here’s some of the things he has done:

  • Squeeze elephant poop to get the juice out so he can drink it.
  • Pee on a shirt and rap it around his head to keep cool.
  • Build a raft out of bamboo and head in to shark infested waters.
  • Catch a fish and eat it raw(like gollum).
  • Eat a zebra.
  • Jump in freezing cold water to show us how to get out.
  • Go in quicksand to teach us how to get out.

There are many more but I don’t have time list them. Here’s a website with him doing some nuts things and biting a head of snake and eating it.

I still need you to decided what header I should use.

I used to love that show. It was too good to be true. Discovery Channel discovered (lol get it?) that Bear was actually checking into 5 star hotels/motels in the areas where he was filming. This could mean he was hiking in Yellowstone National Park for all we know lol.

biggaB-I heard that those were only rumors…and even if they are true then man still drank his own pee and eats elephant poop and all that gross stuff so he still is amazing

So there is a 5 star hotel in the middle of the mexican copper canyons? And one in the middle of the everglades of Florida? And on Iceland? You’re stupid if you believe that.

A camera crew follows him through his journeys. A lot of folks find fault with that, because after all who really knows what happens when the film isn’t running. Regardless, watching the show will give you a good idea of just how much hardship he endures through each location.
